Flexible page rotation

Apply the same rotation to every page in the PDF with one action.

Odd or even pages

Rotate only odd-numbered or even-numbered pages when scans alternate orientation.

Local processing

The selected PDF is processed in your browser instead of being uploaded to a 2PDF2 server for rotation.

What happens to pages that are already rotated?

The tool reads each selected page's existing rotation and adds the new rotation to it. The result is normalized to a standard page rotation of 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°.

Does rotation change the original PDF?

No. The original file on your device remains unchanged. The browser creates a new PDF containing the updated page rotations.

Does rotation reduce PDF quality?

This tool changes the page rotation instead of rasterizing every page into a new image. Existing page content is therefore not intentionally converted to JPEG or reduced in resolution by the rotation process.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Rotate PDF tool free to use?

Yes. The current 2PDF2 Rotate PDF tool can be used without a paid account.

Is my PDF uploaded to 2PDF2?

The rotation process runs in your browser and does not intentionally send the selected PDF to a 2PDF2 server for processing. Normal webpage requests to third-party services may still occur; see the Privacy Policy.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Choose Selected pages and enter a single page number, such as 4.

Can I rotate different page ranges?

Yes. Enter multiple pages or ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3,6,9-11.

Will rotating a PDF reduce image quality?

The tool changes PDF page rotation rather than rendering every page as a new JPG image, so it does not intentionally lower page resolution.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may not open in this tool. Use an authorized method to remove the protection first.
