Ways to select pages for deletion
Click page thumbnails
Select or unselect individual pages visually. This is useful when you need to identify pages by their content.
Delete a page range
Enter 4-9 to mark pages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 for deletion.
Combine ranges and pages
Enter 2-4,8,11-13 to select several different areas of the PDF at once.
Odd, even, first, or last
Quick-selection buttons are useful for scanned documents, alternating pages, covers, and trailing blank pages.
Does deleting pages reduce PDF quality?
The tool removes selected pages from the PDF structure and saves the remaining document. It does not intentionally rasterize the pages that remain, so their text and vector content are not deliberately converted into images.
What happens to the original PDF?
The original file on your device remains unchanged. The tool creates a separate PDF containing the pages that were not deleted.
Delete PDF Pages versus Extract PDF Pages
Delete PDF Pages is best when most of the document should stay and only a few unwanted pages need to be removed. Extract PDF Pages is better when you want to create a new PDF from a smaller set of specific pages.
