How to convert HTML to PDF

What happens to JavaScript in the HTML?
JavaScript is removed before the preview is created. Inline event handlers such as onclick are also removed, and the preview frame does not receive script permission. This converter is intended for static HTML and CSS content, not for executing web applications before PDF capture.
External images, CSS, and fonts
External resources are blocked by default. When you enable external resources, the browser may request remote images, stylesheets, fonts, or other referenced files from third-party domains. Cross-origin restrictions can still prevent some remote assets from appearing in the generated PDF.
Why can the PDF look different from the original webpage?
HTML is responsive and can change layout depending on browser width, fonts, CSS support, and external resources. This tool captures the browser-rendered result rather than using a server version of Chrome or a professional print-layout engine. Advanced CSS and interactive features can therefore differ.
Text in the generated PDF
The current browser conversion captures rendered HTML pages as images before placing them into the PDF. This prioritizes visual appearance, but the resulting page text is generally not selectable or searchable as native PDF text.

Is the HTML to PDF tool free to use?
Yes. The current 2PDF2 HTML to PDF tool can be used without a paid account.
Is my HTML uploaded to 2PDF2?
The HTML is processed in your browser and is not intentionally sent to a 2PDF2 conversion server. External URLs can receive requests when external resources are enabled.
Does the converter run JavaScript from my HTML?
No. Scripts and inline event handlers are removed, and the preview frame is sandboxed without script permission.
Can I convert a complete HTML file?
Yes. Upload a local .html or .htm file, preview it, and then convert the rendered result to PDF.
Will external images appear?
They are blocked by default. Enable external resources when needed, but cross-origin restrictions or unavailable files can still prevent some assets from rendering.
Will links remain clickable in the PDF?
Not with the current visual-capture method. The HTML is rendered into page images, so links and interactive controls are not preserved as native PDF links.
