Merge PDF
Combine PDF files directly in your browser
Merge two or more PDF documents into one file without installing software. Add your PDFs, put them in the order you need, and download the combined document when processing is complete.
Merge PDF
Add at least two PDF files. Drag cards to reorder them on desktop, or use the arrow buttons on any device.
Privacy note: the PDF files you select are read and combined in your browser by this tool. 2PDF2 does not intentionally upload the selected PDF files to its own server. The webpage itself may still connect to third-party services such as our code-delivery provider, analytics, or advertising services as described in our Privacy Policy.
How to merge PDF files
- Select Choose PDF files and add two or more PDFs.
- Review the list and arrange the files in the order you want.
- Select Merge PDF files.
- When processing finishes, select Download merged PDF.
Why merge PDFs?
Keeping related pages in one document can make files easier to store, send, review, and archive. Common uses include combining invoices, scanned pages, reports, application documents, assignments, and project records.
No installation
The merger runs in a modern web browser, so there is no desktop application to install.
Reorder before merging
Change the document order before creating the final PDF. Desktop users can also drag file cards.
Local file processing
Your selected PDF contents are processed by the merger in your browser rather than uploaded to 2PDF2 for merging.
No added watermark
The merger does not intentionally stamp a 2PDF2 watermark onto the output document.
What happens to the original files?
The tool creates a new combined PDF. It does not modify the original files stored on your device. Keep the originals until you have checked that the merged document is complete and in the correct order.
Important PDF limitations
This tool is intended for standard, readable PDF files. Password-protected, encrypted, damaged, or unusually complex PDFs may not merge successfully. The visible page appearance is normally retained, but advanced PDF features such as forms, bookmarks, attachments, scripts, digital signatures, or other interactive elements may not behave exactly as they did in the source documents. Always review important output files before relying on them.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Merge PDF tool free to use?
Yes. The current 2PDF2 Merge PDF tool can be used without a paid account.
Are my selected PDF files uploaded to 2PDF2?
The merger processes the selected PDFs in your browser and does not intentionally send those PDF files to a 2PDF2 server for merging. Normal webpage requests to third-party services may still occur; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I change the order before merging?
Yes. Use the up and down controls on each file. On desktop browsers you can also drag the file cards into a new order.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not with this merger. Remove the password protection using an authorized method first, then add the unlocked PDF.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
The tool copies pages into a new PDF rather than intentionally rasterizing or recompressing page content. However, complex interactive features can vary, so review the result if the document is important.
